Steven Lamb Art - The Journey of an Artist
In Canada since 1991, Steven Lamb is one of those rare success stories оr the realization of the American Dream (ok, in his case the Canadian dream). The hardest of struggles didn’t stop Steven Lamb from painting. His sense of humor and positive attitude show through in his work and in 2001 he wins the Golden Statue of the Montreal Comedy Festival Visual Art Symposium. He uses the grotesque as a medium of social commentary but without the need to criticize society. What is typical about Lamb is his keen observation of popular culture and understanding of human nature. Lamb’s cityscapes are inspired by the rich traditions of the Old Montreal.
