Special Feature tribute to Klimbo
Kliment Dentchev
1939-2009
Klimbo, of his real name Kliment Dentchev, is an actor and painter who spends half his life in Bulgaria and the other half in Canada. Famous in both countries for drawing behind a glass while telling stories for children, he wins the Peabody award for best television show on Radio Canada in 1982. Kliment Denchev has equally featured in countless theater plays and over 30 films, the last one being the Investigation directed by Iglika Trifonova in 2005. Since then writes many articles and publishes his memoirs in 2008. Kliment Denchev passes away on March 30, 2009 in Montreal at the age of 69.
