The future is green and bright for the avant-garde artist, documentary filmmaker and new media creator Maia Iotzova. Based in Vancouver and recently in Montreal, she loves creating projects which explore environmental and social themes in playful and poetic ways with special emphasis on creating community dialog and platforms for community involvement.

This clip presents Maia’s current project, the Green Dream documentary in which she searches for the root of our conflict with nature, by exploring the daily interactions that people have with green spaces and the color green in her current home of Canada and her native Bulgaria.
